Here’s an effective strategy you can use to generate more sales from Social & Mobile Marketing.
We Buy “TRAFFIC”
Why is Traffic Important? It’s obvious right..
No Traffic = No Sales.
But… you also need to have the right type of traffic.
The “right” traffic for this post is Mobile & Social.
The first thing you’ll want to do is create a nice looking fan page.
Using the “Rapid Community Builder” strategy taught at my Brand Builder Workshop, Marcia has been able to acquire highly targetted fans for $0.08 per “Like” to her Fan Page.
This strategy in a nutshell consists of targeting product names of other name-brand products that New Mom’smight also be interested in with your Facebook Ads. For example, you might target brand-name Baby Formula or Baby Diapers. You could also target name-brand baby apparel like Baby Gap and Carter’s.
The next step is to schedule content frequently. Like Marcia, you want to create content related to your audience and post those frequently on your Fan Page.
Every post should have a link back to your e-Commerce Store!
I also recommend using Emoji’s this way you grab your audiences attention with the Fan Post.
Here’s a Google Chrome Extension I use:
How do you check which posts are the most engaging?
All you have to do is check your Facebook Fan Page Insights.
Insights is a really cool tool because you can see how your audience is engaging and responding to the content on your Fan Page. The higher the “Engagement” is, the more relevant it is to the audience.
Making these posts more accessible to your prospects and readers will more than likely generate more traffic to your store which will eventually results in? You’ve got it, more sales!
Most of my Facebook Ads I create using the Power Editor tool or with some Third-Party Ad Generators but there is another way to get more traffic to your Fan Page and Site.
Let me introduce you to the world of “Boosting”. “Boosting” is a feature you can see next to the posts you make on your Fan Page.
Boosting the posts with the highest amount of “Engagement” will give you the best chance of getting more high-quality traffic to your store. When I boost, I usually “boost” my post to people who have already “Liked” my Page and their friends.
Why them specifically?
Well, I already know the people who “Liked” my page based on the interest I used to acquire them. Also, influence from Mutual Friends is playing a big role using Social Proof & Trust to help increase sales.
When I target the people who “Liked” my page’s friends, I know there is a good chance they are interested in similar items.
Here’s what I mean;
If I’m targeting New Mothers to my Fan Page then I know that “birds of the feather flock together”. I can safely assume that people who “Liked” my page probably have a handful of friends who also share some of the same interests.
So now, when my ad is displayed to their friends what happens is this:
First, the very top of the ad gives us instant trust and social proof by telling the viewer, “Your friend (their name) liked this page.” When the friends sees that, they immediately build trust because they trust their friend.
Second, they see the ad you are promoting and think, “Wow! That is a great deal!” “If [said friend] liked it then it must be good, right?”
We break down a lot of initial sales resistance because the trust in the friend helped us do that automatically.. It works like a charm.
How well you ask?
Uproxx.com, a fast-growing Web Culture Blog, boosts all of their post the exact same way.
